[EquisMetaStock Group] Re: Real Time Data warning

The number of symbols that can be open at any one time using live data
depends on five things, the bandwidth you have, the speed of your
processor, the number of indicators and experts you have in the
charts, the time interval (1 min, 5 min, etc), and the amount of data
needed on a look back basis to make your indicators and experts work.

MS has to pause to update each chart. If the data flow gets disrupted
for any reason it creates a problem. If there is too much history on a
chart, the time it takes to flip to the next chart becomes so slow,
it's pretty much useless. MS is a very complex program that has to
merge data streams with graphical output and mathematical calculations.

In addition, MS is written on an old platform that uses inefficient
file handling methods. MS needs a complete rewrite, rather than
constant patching. That's expensive to do and Equis doesn't sell
enough copies of MS to warrant spending that kind of money, so we'll
all just have to live with the quirks.
