I thought following was a response? It was then followed by a request for
information on a specific form I included in the follow-up email. I am
compiling the information submitted by 9 people from this list. By the way
Joe, you were one of them.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We apologize for any problems that you may be having. The vast majority of
our users are not having problems with printing. We do recognize, however,
that a group of users are reporting problems.

Printing problems within Windows applications are difficult to diagnose and
fix. An application may have no problems for 99% of printers while 1% may
experience some difficulty. Many times printer or video drivers are at
fault. Sometimes they are not. Occasionally, an application may experience
difficulties because of slight differences between drivers and printers from
different manufacturers.

We are currently gathering information on this current problem to try and
identify the specific cause. It can be a daunting task for reasons
mentioned above. Once we are able to identify the problem, we will
implement a fix.

Once again, we apologize for the problem. We want you to be happy with our
product.

Subject: Printing Charts with version 6.52 - ATTN: Bill

Bill,
It's been over a week since I wrote you the reply below and would appreciate

a response to my questions and where Equis is on fixing this problem.
Thanks,
Joe Nemecek

PREVIOUS CORRESPONDENCE (11/29/99):
Thanks, Bill, for your reply but I think you are missing the point most of
us
are making. It is:
1. There was no problem printing graphs with Metastock 6.5.
2. There now is a problem printing graphs with Metastock 6.52.
3. I think you will agree that Metastock should provide a version of 6.5
that
corrects the Y2K problem without causing problems in other areas.

Bill, that's all we're asking for: A version of Metastock that corrects the
Y2K problem and not negatively affect anything else. We shouldn't have to
buy
ver. 7.0 to get this.
Don't you agree?
Sincerely,
Joe Nemecek
