I bought mine from ubid.com and was happy.  I think you can save a
couple hundred $ going that route.  Most of these deals don't come
with an operating system, so you need to have a Win98 or Win2000 or
linux CD handy when it arrives.

I recommend to test everything right away, especially things that
are built into the motherboard (modem, NIC, sound system, audio
input, USB).  By the time I got around to hooking my machine up to
a network, I found out the built-in ethernet on the motherboard
was flakey, and it was too late to return to Ubid.  No big deal, a
PCI-bus NIC costs only $15, but it used up one of my two PCI slots.
This is also no big deal unless you have plans for both PCI slots.
