  Hello Bob,you're quite right, Bob and is something that's been 
  rolling around inmy mind for the last week or so.  The libertarian 
  view is gettingincreasing attention and voters it seems.  there's a 
  lot there to berecommended.  as the self-appointed chief strategist 
  of the GOP I havebeen looking for a way head off a severe weakening of the 
  conservativecause by libertarian success.
   
  There was a recent blurb on 
  PBS that said Independent was the fastest growing "party."  Do you know 
  if growth is primarily from at the expense of one party or the 
  other?the answer as I see it is for the GOP to 
  move toward its libertarianroots but that will not be easy.  It 
  breaks my heart to see how much Wviolates conservative principles--see for

  and steel subsidies are a couple of the most extreme cases. This iswelfare
