I would say that is fallacious. The posts on Elite Trader recently about the
spotty server performance of Tradestation....and then about the incredibly
MASSIVE "TRAD" stock selling by none other than Billy and Ralphy recently
....are quite telling. Tradestation is going downhill fast.

There are new kids on the block....namely Thinkorswim (great service,
support, reliability...terrible programmability) and NinjaTrader (great
everything, even documentation !).
Multicharts and Amibroker are also in the running...albeit they are in the
back.
Interactive Brokers is just a crap-shoot...their API is so full of holes,
it's like swiss cheese...
and of course, they use outsourced programmers.(touch of bitterness ? YOU
BET !)
