The effect of using that two minute space 8:28 to 8:30(CT) is that TS
charting does not plot during that period even though the GS is storing the
ticks.  Try plotting a one tick chart and note the gap for those two
minutes.  For those who want the globex charting to match the day session
charting open, those times are used, but if you are trading globex issues
prior to and after the day session open a better time for the break would be
during a low tickvolume period such as midnight.
