Who told you Dynastore updates the GLobal Server *ONLY* once per second ???
I believe both Dynastore and Dynaloader are multi-threaded by design which
would permit high volume thruput on a reasonably fast machine. ALso, the
current bar jiggles up and down at a rate faster than once per second as
further proof.

Also: DSL and Cable connections are about 5 TIMES faster than the pipes that
are actually delivering the real-time quotes thru the ISP Comstock which
currently has a bandwidth limitation of 128kbps....which is puny.

Comstock, the wholesale data provider is the real culprit, not Quote.com's
server farm.....
They are supposedly moving to 384kbps bandwidth.....but that has been
delayed over 2 months now.
