If anyone has any other opinion I'd love to know about it.  But my opinion
is that CQG has most comprehensive catalog of historical (including tick)
data.  (From a search I did, only CQG has globex sp tick from the
beginning.)

The problem is that one must do several different kinds of transforms to
this data to get it into ts.

I've finished developing a process to do this transformation on some sp
tick.  Later today, I'll be posting a list of the transforms that appear to
be needed.
