Hi Super,

Thanks for the link to compuvision. As it happens, I had already made the changes suggested there. At one time the TradeSim Dll was listed as blocked when I checked the properties tab. After uninstalling Spybot but this is no longer the case.

This is a little frustrating as TradeSim did work perfectly under the 32-bit version of Vista. I think I'll take up your suggestion to turn off all of Vista's security functions and see if that makes a difference.

thanks again,

Cameron

Probably one of two issues. Emulator modehttp://www.compuvision.com.au/Vista.htmor Vista's overwrought security. If the emulator doesn't work, turnoff all Vista security functions, reboot and try it again. Good luck! No Vista in my house until Microsoft absolutely forces meto migrate. I'm sure Tradesim hasn't been rewritten for Vista.Super--- In equismetastock@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Cameron Reid <cwr_74@xxx> wrote:>> > I need a little help here.> > I have re-installed TradeSim on a new computer running Vista 64x.The re-installation appears to be successful as TradeSim will open andrun simulations on previous explorations.
