I suspect that your problem relates to the number of periods you are specifying for your
explorations. It's a fact of life with all versions of MetaStock that exploration values may differ
from chart values (of indicators) when insufficient periods are specified for the exploration. This
is not a fault but usually relates to the amount of internal exponential smoothing contained within
some indicators. Any function using Wilders Smoothing or an EMA internally will need about 5 times
the nominal "periods" amount of historical data. ADX(20) will need about 100 periods of data to give
values equivalent to those on a 1000 bar chart. If the Explorer is left to its own devices and you
are specifying "minimum" periods then it only use 20 periods to determine the ADX(20) value. By
contrast your 1000 period chart uses traces of all 1000 periods of data to construct an ADX(20).

Check the Explorer "Options" settings and correct the problem there.
