<DIV><FONT size=2>I have always had problems with Metastock (my versions have
been 6.5 and 6.52). It isn't a resource problem in the strictest sense, since
my system is a Dell 400 MHz&nbsp; Pentium II with Windows 98, 128 MB RAM and a
8 GB hard drive that is 75-80% free. On the other hand, it only happens if I
try to work well ahead of the printer, skipping along and telling the system
to print charts in advance. After a bit, the blanking of chart areas begins on
all subsequent charts. If I do not queue charts, then no problem. Only
Metastock messes up. For a variety of reasons, Metastock 6.52 is my last
version of this program. There are no MS upgrades in my trading future. And
Reuters has about the worst customer support that I have ever seen in a
company. It will lose me as a customer within the next 3-6 months unless they
suddenly effect a turnaround in performance and price
  competitiveness.</FONT></DIV>

&gt;<BR>&gt; &gt;&gt;&gt; I've had problems when printing charts. If I
      print 100 charts, 20% are<BR>&gt; &gt;&gt;&gt; 1/2 blank (the remaining is
somehow lost - it is not printed on the next<BR>&gt; &gt;&gt;&gt; page). I

      &gt;<BR>&gt; &gt;<BR>&gt; &gt;I wish I printed 100 charts! I however get
this same error. It is<BR>&gt; &gt;inconsistent. I think it is related to
      the video driver, as it reads<BR>&gt; &gt;off the screen.<BR>&gt;
&gt;<BR>&gt; &gt;In some cases, I've seen the preview as perfect, yet
indicators are<BR>&gt; &gt;missing, or the whole chart is missing, leaving
me with the frame.<BR>&gt; &gt;<BR>&gt; &gt;Equis has had a long history

Heidi, I too have 128meg RAM, "efficiently" cached, 10.5 gig HD, 8 meg
video ram.

I found that if I print one chart at a time, that is, no other charts
on the screen, I manage OK, however Meatstock chokes on anything more
in mem ram. Equis is aware of the issue, it's just that there are too
many platforms out there for them to address.

I just wish they would recommend "tested" video cards.... Have yes to
see this, as it would be an admission of an anomaly.
