What OS are you using? Have you looked in the control panel? XP includes
several visibility options if you go into settings / control panel /
mouse. You can set the size and color of the cursor, set trails or have
it pop up a big target when you hit the control key. I don't remember
what NT and 95 had available because I never use any of that stuff but
it seems like they had some or all of it.
