Yep.  Try not defragging for a while.  Also, quit running tweaking and
cleanup utilities.

If the other suggestions fail, wipe the drive and make sure it's NTFS.
Then I would stop the defragging protocol.  In my experience, I don't
notice any improvements it offers on modern systems.
