Now that Omega has turned its back on a large population of previous users
they risk losing their position as the standard. I understand that things
change but in light of their past deceits and because of their dependence
on internet delivery, I'm not willing to risk my charting, or my data, or
my brokerage on their woeful reputation.

I'm weaning myself away from my excessive reliance on EasyLanguage. Much as
I enjoy computerized system trading, there are other ways to make money in
the markets. If a trader wanted to, they could simply scalp the markets
every day using the charting module that's included with DTN. It's not
fancy, but you can make money trading with it.

So it's really a matter of who you want to do business with and what you're
willing to put up with to get the bells and whistles. If you're hooked on
EasyLanguage, Omega has some control over your trading. Dependable data is
far more important and more difficult to obtain than acceptable charting
and I understand Omega's data is what one comes to expect from Omega.

It sounds to me like a trader still needs TS2Ki for analysis because that
aspect of TS6 is limited due to limited data. TS2Ki is not an antique, it's
only three years old, it's just that they didn't finish it. Sounds to me
like TS6 *REQUIRES* TS2Ki to be complete yet they never completed TS2Ki.
One more service pack could have made a difference but they let us down.

Best to get away from them.
