Re: S&P daily range

Hello jgk,

I wish I knew. these narrow range days are awful. I generally don't
trade (day trade) much on narrow range days or low volume days so the
hurt has been to my rear end more than my wallet. I'm starting to
watch bonds just to get a little volatility.

Although I'm not a long term trader, I remain bearish. SP500, after
getting rid of all the write-offs and write-downs used to obfuscate
earnings, has a P/E of close to 50 according to Business Week. Guys
with deep pockets must know bull markets don't start from that level.
I see this pause as the calm before the storm--storm being the 2nd
leg down in the mother of all bear markets.
