There is an issue I ran into that has to do with how fat32 partitions are
made in win 95/98/etc. and the way that it must be done to work with win
2000. The 95/95 partitioning takes a shortcut that win2000 does not permit,
without it win2000 will not work on a fat32 partition made in 95/98. There
is a fix on the msft web site, but unfortunately I have no memory on how to
find it. Not sure if this relates to your issue.
