Study works in the US

Anyone able to shed light on why a "study" designed for TS2000i
which works in the US fails to generate similar signals in the UK.
Has it got something to do with the time difference?
Any comments re session times to trade S&P for TS2000i
Please.
The "study" starts with the session_ begins
                        the session- ends
I have tried inserting appropriate times but to no avail.
My US friend is very puzzled too!
