Although I doubt that anybody is using TS2000i or
ProSuite with DTN feed using a D8000 receiver box . .
.

This is NOT a velocity box . . .

How to tell them apart ?

According to Brian in DTN tech support:

Both flavors of the velocity box have a DIGITAL signal
strength meter on the rear - like a liquid crystal
display.

The D8000 box has only an old fashioned signal
strength meter (analog) with a needle inside that
moves between 1 and ten.

Why all the fuss ? It appears that since
decimalization of the markets the D8000 boxes are now
about as worthless as "door stops" for anybody trying
to use the Mark Brown DTN data feed deal.

Isn't it wonderful being on the BLEEDING edge of
technology ?
