Dual Processor-home built system?

Hello omega-list,

I am planning to add a another dual processor system to my work environment.
Is anyone successfully using one of the barebone dual CPU boxes or
motherboards?

There is a big price difference between a Dell 2 processor system
and a start from scratch system, enough to go the home built route.
