The setup is for optimizing several strategies over about 15
markets......... i am a backtest fanatic.
Yeah , i was thinking of using vnc.... i think it will work beautifully.
the tricky part is the macro/automation software part.
Basically i want to create a strategy ....... then save it as a special name
and then ...... PRESTO (automation across a lan using several pcs) ......2
days later its tested over x number of markets and all optimizations are
saved to a single excel spreadsheet.

What I'd suggest you need is a (half) rack into which you can slide up to 40
1Us, a switch, and a router to the outside world. Then you need a PC
networked to the rack. You can use a video switch to move from box to box,
but most people don't do that. They use VNC or something similar. But this
is a strange configuration for trading, so you must have something else in
mind:)
