  Looking at +DI(21) and -DI(21) and combining with and ADX(21) crossover visually looks interesting..
   
  I ve tried replicating using the Cross(PDI(21), ADX(21)) to no avail.
   
  Any thoughts?

ADX (+DI -DI) is a very helpfull indicator and is very good to 
determine trends but itīs not useful for buing or selling. Keep this
