[Metastockusers] help converting 1min datafile to 3mins

hi
Could someone tell me the steps to save a 1min data files into say 
3min data file ?
I tried the equis help but don't understand what they are trying to 
say.
I can open a 1min chart, and change the interval to 3mins, but how to 
save the data into a 3min security file that i created ?
