lap top and wireless internet

Hi Group,
 
I'm wanting to purchase a lap top computer and 
access my intra day downloads via a wireless configeration rather than a land 
line telephone, so that I can trade while travelling.
 
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a reliable and 
cost effective system to do this?
