Mike :

" I intend to daytrade with E-Signal and MS looks like the
right answer"

I am doing this already (from Belgium) and i like to have
contact with people with
the same "set-up"  to help each other with problems which
might happen with
Esignal and Realtime MS.

One tip Michael :  join the esignal CHAT-daytraders-
room  (my id : dorusXX)
very nice helpfull people there and laughs are free
:)
(You can reach it through <A
href="http://www.esignal.com";>www.esignal.com  amd then : support
(below in the page).
Then look at Esignal chat (first subscribe).

As far as i know i am there the only one with MSrealtime and
Esignal.
(others only use Esignal)

Problems for now :

a)  esignal starts data at about 3.00 PM  (european
time) and
realtime MS only starts at 3.30 PM (european
time).

b) MS  realtime is a very heavy application so donot run
it with many apps
    at the same time.   (Tip
-2)

c) Kevin :  how are you related to Metastock ?
(sorry but i am a little suspicious here).
    no offense.

Thanks

See you in the chat room.

Theo Lockefeer.

I have ordered MS 7.03 outright and have yet to
receive it, but, I have tried SuperCharts and looked at Tradestation. How much
  does anyone need to do?
MS is highly intuitive and easy to use. This is
paramount. You will see on this forum, lots of help is available. Also, the
staff at Metastock is quite helpful.
I intend to daytrade with E-Signal and MS looks
  like the right answer.

    Hi,
I'm currently trying out MetaStock Pro (ver7) on a 30
day trial basis.  (I trade full-time and am primarily
a short-term swing trader, 2-5 days to several
    weeks)

I'm sure many of you considered and/or tried out other
trading/analysis software before ultimately deciding on MetaStock
    (MS).

Can anyone offer an opinion of:

    1) how MS stacks up against other competitors (i.e.,
Omega Tradestation, AIQ, OmniTrader (which I realize is a "horse of a
    different color"), etc.).

    and,
    2) what was it about MS that ultimately persuaded
you to purchase it as opposed to one of its competitors.

    Thx in advance.

    ~ Kevin
