The following is a letter I sent to suggestions@xxxxxxxxxx Although
VectorVest has poor TA and charting capabilities, the rest of the program
puts MetaStock to shame. I use both.

Please get a copy of a program called VectorVest. It has 4 features that
would be great to add to MetaStock:

1) Multiple security portfolio system back tester. It will back test a
portfolio of stocks that are bought and sold with user defined buying and
selling criteria with user defined start and end dates replacing stocks as
they are sold.

2) Add a Portfolio Manager.

3) As in VectorVest have all common stocks available in one folder where the
symbols are updated at MetaStock and divided into sectors and industries.

4) As in VectorVest add fundamental data.

Many former MetaStock users have switched to VectorVest for these reasons.

Subject: the past year

Now that the year is over, I'd like to hear from anyone interested, "What
worked for you in the year 2000?" It was a tough year for many but some of
the things that might interest readers are;

What stock selection techniques worked or didn't work for you?

What features of Metastock are useful or useless?

What are your expectations for the year 2001?

Since this is a learning environment for the sharing and expressing of
ideas, I hope some of you will be free with your thoughts and ideas.
