Comma Separated Values/Variables/?

It is a common format for exporting spreadsheet data where all values are
separated by commas, strings are enclosed in "quotes", numbers are not, and
one record per line. Example:

19971219,"BGO",2.5,2.0,2.0625,2.5,1425645,0

Cheers,
