George -

I'm afraid that MetaStock 6.5 will not do as you ask, what I call
"Nested Filtering." No version of MetaStock that I am aware of has ever
been able to do Nested Filtering.

EQUIS used to, and for all I know still does, sell a program that does
do Nested Filtering of MetaStock data. Its name is TechniFilter, by RTR
Software. Should you choose to visit it, its URL is:
http://www.rtrsoftware.com.

I have no idea what it will take EQUIS to see the Sun in the sky and
include Nested Filtering in future versions of MetaStock.
