Hi guys,
Remember me?, I've been on the MS list for a while and have posted
some problems I had ( yes PAST TENSE ! ) working with my trading tools,
namely, MS 6. I remember months ago Frank B Gaylord
posted a message about problems he had with his computer crashes.
He said had Windows 95 and upgraded to Windows NT 4. Apparently he
made a good decision, Am
I right, Frank?.
Well, I followed his steps, I just upgraded to Windows NT 4, and, man,
WHAT A DIFFERENCE !.
I've been using / testing it for about ten days with several applications
opened, including Excel 7, a
time synchronizer, Metastock 6 and The Downloader, and a web site (
Interquote ) where I'm
retrieving quotes MORE THAN 100 TIMES every day. You know what?, Windows
NT 4 KEPT my
system resources at a whooping 90 % !!. Also, I HAVE NOT HAD
A SINGLE CRASH !, just minor
messages about certain program not being able to run because of a missing
driver or whatever.
That's what I call A STABLE AND RELIABLE OS. It was an expensive option,
but well worth it.
Just wanted to share with you how happy I am with this decision. Hope
everything keeps going all
right. Of course, I wish you all the same if you ever want to make
the switch to WINDOWS NT 4,
THE BIIIIIIIG BROTHER OF Windows 95 !!.

P.S. When upgrading, make sure your computer MEETS THE HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS,
Windows NT4 lists
hundreds of compatible brands.
