Many thx to everyone who has written to give me advice.
As I use Metaload rather than the Downloader for my regular downloads I
was not really familar with the functionality of the Downloader.
There are still some niggles I have...
I would like to create a list (in notepad say) along the lines of....
Code Security_name
AAA A Company called A
XYZ Another Company
QWE A different security
And then have downloader automatically create a set of securities for
Metastock. (I realise these would be empty - but Metaload would look for
them and then fill in the data (well the last 20 days).
