Very good point but there is another.  If I liked it at $29, then I would have to love it at $25.  I'm still doing my short term momentum trading, (which of recent has been nearly all shorts), but this one may be a hold for the "long term".  I might have this for as long as 3 months.  :)   As for today, since it opened below 28, I have held back and just put an order in at 27.30

Marching North .. Hopefully not to Gettysburg

In the FWIW column, it's one thing to take a detour to the south when the army is marching north, however it's another thing to march north when the entire army is fleeing to the south.

The bulk of what I have was bought at around 29 so I didn't add any more yet but will if it breaks 28 tomorrow.  I know this is contrary to how tech traders do this but I consider this drop nothing less than a gift due to the strong fundamentals.  In the after market, when the tropical storm was gaining strength and looked like it could become a hurricane, CHK jumped a half buck and then when the track was announced, it dropped back.  I don't have a definitive plan for adding other than I was serious when I said if it gets to $25, I'll buy a block.  (I hope no one is following my path here .. If I were you, I would trust Ira more than Bob)

Good trading all .. we have volatility .. finally!

Still downside pressure on the stock.  The key here is if the 27 3/4 - 28 support level will hold.  If not, look for 27 -27 1/4.

Still no buy signal on this one.  Hope that you are not acquiring to aggressively as yet Bob.

Just one man's opinion.  Ira.
