Carsten,

I know about the software - what I was trying to ask is: "Who in this
group would be interested in getting together and form a 'virtual
arcade'?"

It takes a little more than just setting up the kit - you need a
group of traders whose interests are similar enough for discussions
to be of mutual benefit but not too similar so that they compete head-
on.

The other thing I would like to achieve is casual telepresence - the
problem you have with most simple packages is that you have to *do*
something to communicate with someone else. In an arcade you just
look up from your computer, across the desk, and there's the other
guy to talk to. To be effective, a comms system would have to
emulate that level of casualness. In other words, you dedicate a
machine to it, it sits at the corner of your desk, always on, and you
simply turn to it and shout: "Hey guys, did you just see that spike
in the DAX ? Whaddaya think is going on ?" and four others start
talking back.

Anyone interested ?
