Or a non-M$ program such as TheBat!

TheBat has done this for some time.

TheBat has done this for some time.

TheBat also blocks zips - some of which can execute after expanding.

Yep - just like TheBat.

Not good - TheBat can send anything YOU want, but NOTHING that a virus
wants to send.

TheBat address book is even safer.

TheBat can see them, safely, if in the message, but also needs a click
(with very good cautions :-) ) to view attachments.

With TheBat, it is safe to leave them there. However, if you want to
sort/process mail, TB has VERY good mail processing capabilities. You
can even run your own mail list, like this one, from TB.

Every day some hacker finds a new way to infect Outlook. You have to
then download the patch-of-the-day from M$. There is a MUCH better way
to avoid the virusware from M$ - don't use it. :-)
