Because geometry and astrological observation are one and the same. For
further elaboration, you may wish to read Epitome of Copernican
Astronomy:Harmonies of the World or something of that nature. I collect
works on the subject. If anyone knows of good titles, please let me
know, I can always use a few more. Oh, I already have the original one
on the subject. ; )
