Traders,

Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment survey. The
survey was taken from 6/13 thru 6/29 on our web site. If you would like to

30 day outlook:

42% bullish, 55% last week
39% bearish, 22% last week
18% neutral, 24% last week

(percentages may not sum to 100 due to rounding)

Average guess for the DJIA closing value on Friday, 7/3 : 7632 (it was 7798
last week). More complete sentiment data is available at
<http://www.lowrisk.com/sentiment.htm> .

This weeks sentiment took a dramatic turn towards the bearish. Bullish sentiment
dropped 13%. The bears gained even more than the bulls lost, picking up a
whopping 17%. Neutral sentiment dropped by 6% to 18%. This is the most dramatic
shift to bearish sentiment that we have seen in the 3 months since we started
our survey. Conventional wisdom regarding sentiment would have us looking for a
rally this week.

We now have three sponsors for our contest this week. Weekly winners will now
receive a two month subscription to the Early Bird Club at the Short Term Stock
Selector AND a one year subscription to The Blue Star List AND a one year
subscription to Jack's Picks.
