If you really want to test your brain use BOTH.  With Serial ATA
drives you can have RAID.  Then you can have a ATA or serial drive in
addition to the two serial ATA drives back up on.

I didn't use RAID but did use two Serial ATA drives that Casper cloned
one to the other.  Then I also had a bootable IDE type ATA drive that
had everything on it including a nightly backup using Windows XP's
shadow backup.  The beauty of this is you can, depending on your BIOS
options, boot to the IDE drive instead of the Serial ATA drives by
simply making a change in the BIOS during your reboot.
