Hi, Volker.  Unfortunately, my math proficiency and undergraduate pea-brain
stumble hopelessly once weird-shaped Greek symbols are introduced into an
equation.  ....probably from too many mind altering substances in my youth,
or possibly not enough ;-)

Anyway, thanks for the input. I think I got the message :)   BTW, private
feedback that others have been kind enough to share suggest TRIX or Jurik's
VEL may be better alternatives.
