---,

My sympathies but this is old news. I get whacked with at least two or
three nasties each week. I run Norton Anti-Virus as part of Norton System
Works. So far I've never had a nastie get past NAV, not even Nimda right at
the beginning. I keep current with M$'s fixes and upgrades but I wouldn't
upgrade solely to stop a virus problem because M$ seems to have an ongoing
problem with gaping holes in whatever they release. You got a virus
problem? You get a virus solution - a virus scanner that you keep current.
Keeping current these days means you go get the latest update as the first
thing you do after you fire up the box.

Norton and McAfee both have detailed explanations on how to purge BadTrans
from your system. I'll post the URL's if you need them.

Mike
