Europe Esignal (was RE: eSignal opinions summary)

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

I use CQG Net but I have subscribed to eSignal for a month to compare the 2.
So far eSignal seems OK just so long as you don't want to trade anything on
EUREX (not checked LIFFE yet).

So far their feed has varied mostly between 3 and 10 seconds behind CQG Net
and the market (PATs front-end, GNI broker). Also whereas CQG provides
traded volume (ie enables you to see volume bars) eSignal does not on this
exchange.

For the e-minis, its fine and pretty much in line with CQG

Anyone else experience the lag on Eurex?

Subject: eSignal opinions summary

I received 10 replies, some long with details, some with just one liner.

All lean towards the good side. Basically eSignal is doing the
right thing all along - charge based on the amount of data requested,
which leads to stable and fast performance overall.

And the reason I asked for opinions is not that
I am shopping for a new feed :) I was trying to determine
how much effort should our company put into supporting eSignal, thats all.

Thanks again.
