RE: Ross Hook

May I suggest going a little further:
I have been using successfully this combination as a trading system,
intraday and position:

1. I wait until I have a 1-2-3
2. I then wait the first Ross Hook that follows
3. I do NOT trade the 1st breakout, because it often is a false breakout
(floor traders fading the stops) - this is especially true in intraday, less
in daily charts
4. I trade the 2nd breakout

However I have a problem with the above: I have been unable to code an ELA
for this system !!! So, I only trade it visually in intraday, following 3 or
4 symbols.
Could one of you fellow ELA developers help by creating this code ?!?

Good Luck and Happy New Year

John:

I do not disagree with anything below, but I would add:
A) The critical factor is how you define the market as "trending."
B) From an EL code perspective a swing high / swinglow can be formed by a
"one bar correction."

SWINGHIGH(1,H,1,XX)
