Tom,

I don't know if you are new to such online forums as the omega list, but
when I was new it took a while for me to get the tough skin necessary to
just blow off the flames, or crap people send my way when they don't agree
with my point of view or just want to be jerks. But I am glad I developed
the tough skin because collectively, I have learned more good stuff from the
omega-list than any other source. Usually, I am pointed in some direction of
research by someone on the list. There are many even tempered souls out
here, like myself, that will not participate in flame throwing contests. I
quess what I'm saying is ignore the crap and pick the gems because there are
gems for the picking if you can wade through the garbage and be persistant.
However, it is very difficult to ignore online insults, but I've learned and
it has paid off. Maybe it's like trading, it's emotionally hard to do the
right thing (it's hard to let winners run for fear of giving back
profits...it's hard to cut losses for fear of missing a comeback) but the
payback is huge for those who learn.

Best regards,

Scott Hoffman
