loss of data during workspace loading

well, well, well... the official position of OMEGA seems to be there
should be no loss of data during the loading of a workspace... recent
correspondence included below... apologies for expreme verbiage, but
with all our discussion & seeming concensus that a cache or TPORT card,
etc. is the only solution, i thought all would be interested in the
OMEGA position.

preston morrow (note OMEGA can't even get my name correct!)

Al:

here's the answers to this set of your questions:

1440 symbols collected;

from 3 to 7 charts per workspace;

from 10 to 13 workspaces when attempted to load an additional workspace;

from 3 to 12 indicators &/or systems on 75% of charts

i have done 2 clean installs per your instructions previously;... not
again except as last resort; alternative is likely a different program
installation

i have installed TS 3 times this year, including the 1st time on my new
box:  300 P-II, 6 gig HD (30% usage), NT 4.0 SP3, BMI SAT feed,
colorgrafics evolution4 video card with 2 monitors, ...
using TS 4.00.12 2/25/98:4:21, block 6860.

looking forward to hearing from you
