Are there any suggestions about recovering. I have hesitated to
delete the bad initial tick, due to what I have read on this list
about the way Omega stores tick data.

I would be happy to give you the exact instructions on how
to correct it, unfortunately, I do not have the data. I am in the
process of switching from BMI to SP Comstock and Omega left
out the data for INTC from its na980105.omz file (neat, huh?).
Copy out the INTC data for Jan 5 and email me the omz. file. I will
correct it and mail it to you as well as anyone who will request it.
I will do it for the list only because I need it myself. It is a painful
process -- it takes hours to correct over 10,000 ticks by groups
of 64 each. I had several posts concerning the problem over the
past year. This is something that Omega will have to change in
the upcoming release.
