I totally agree with you. I have been told by two brokerage houses that trade the forex that the one true server that they recommend with DDE feed in conjunction with Metastock 8.0 is Metaserver 3.1. This is what I am currently testing.

I had a problem with their software, and I was answered promptly. I just wanted to test their software in terms of accuracy and speed etc.
It just did not work out for me.
I think they are unable to support strategem charts because of the java interface.

I tried to contact Hypertrader about downloading data from a qcjforex site repeatedly and received one answer a couple of weeks ago that it can be easily done. Other emails went unanswered. If their service is so bad now, what would happen in the future if I had further questions?
I have looked elsewhere.

It would be foolish to expect Equis to support free data downloads, when Reuters is a data vendor. And Reuters is the parent company of Equis.
However, you can use Smart Downloader from www.hypertrader.it to download free data.
