FUBAR is beyond SNAFU.
In polite society SNAFU can be interpreted to mean "situation normal all
fouled up": and FUBAR can be interpreted to mean "fouled up beyond all
recognition". both terms stem from WW2 terminology.
The larger the bureaucracy (public, private, or military) the more likely is
a snafu or fubar likely to occur.

What does either term have to do with this thread?
