Hi JimG and Ullrich... I'm from Canada, eh...... Toronto, Ontario precisely, and also use Rogers Cable @home... I have had the service for about 18 months and the service hasn't been down more than a couple of times... not that I know of anyways and I'm on about 12 hours per day... After having said that I've heard that other parts of Toronto that have "older" cables have had their problems but we had new fibre-optic cable installed before we got the cable modem.. Ullrich ... have you tried the Bell offering??
