Lloyd,

Since it sounds as if you're unable to receive any IB Futures or Forex data, please check your AMIBroker Database settings, they should be:

Data Source: Interactive Broker Plug In
Local Data Storage: Enabled
Number of Bars: 250000 (this is the number I've set mind to... which is not the default)
Base Time Interval: 1 minute  (This is a very important setting)

Also, on the toolbar under View/Interday... set it to either 
1 minute, 5 minute, 10 minute, etc. 

Check the IB Plug In Status... Backfill length... 
I've got mine set to 10 days

You'll have to build your database so as to view longer time frames.
