Dan,

I had no more than 3 or 4 tickers updating in a 5 second database.
The fastest chart timeframe was 1 minute.
Two charts running with one fast execution time and one slow execution  
time (0.43 seconds) (.5 sec total time)
I also have my bar times set to start of bar.
This is the first time I have noticed this problem.
