Re: DTN Foreign Index Question

It may have to do with the "Exchange Listed" that DTN uses on its feed for
DAX.IB. The Global Server dictionary has it as FSE-Frankfurt Stock
Exchange, but DTN lists its Market Indicator as DTN Index DBID 09000060 when
viewed in Chameleon quote window. Which may mean you have to enter the
symbol DAX.IB as a New symbol rather than from the dictionary. Then when
the GS asks for "more information" type in DTN for the Exchange Listed
field. Same may be true for the CAC.X and FTII.X. Just guessing here, cuz
i've had the same problem and have been wondering what the solution is.
Usually it is either an incorrect symbol or Exchange identifier that keeps
the GS from storing the data. There is a third reason, but it doesn't apply
to these symbols. It has to do with some statistics symbols that use the
Total field rather than the Last field.
