Re: MSN DSL Sharing...

Dear Cody,

When I moved a year ago, I called my local phone company, Qwest, with whom I
had DSL service, to see what I needed to do to maintain it. They tried to
get me to change to MSN DSL, which looked attractive due to its
substantially less expensive service. I asked if that would continue to
work with my home network, which serves 4 computers. They said,
"Emphatically NO!" --- that Microsoft was willing to provide inexpensive
DSL service but for use on only one computer at a time. I kept my old DSL
service, for which I'm paying about twice as much. Frankly, I'm surprised
you got it to work at all. If it is the same service that Qwest tried to
sell to me, I'm afraid you're out of luck. Before you pull out any more of
your hair, I suggest that you call your ISP and verify that what you want is
possible.

Sincerely,

Richard
