Use a mail client that can view ONLY text - the ads are MUCH less
intrusive that way, with a small text version at the bottom.

Naahh - most people will put up with a lot, providing it is ramped up
slowly. Example: when movie theatre ads first appeared, there was an
outcry, but now we accept them with almost no complaints.
Be the first one in your neighborhood to wear a flashing LED ad on
your forehead. You'll be way ahead of your time. :-)
